Pathways proud moment: Vanshika Goel’s poem in Seventh Quarry

vanshika (1)

Vanshika Goel, currently studying in Grade 7 at Pathways Noida, participated in Colours of Saying, the Dylan Thomas Response to Poetry competition this summer. This was open to all in various age groups. She entered in the 10-12 years age group for which a response to The Hunchback in the Park by Dylan Thomas was required.

She turned in her response through a poem of her own – a remarkable one for someone her age.

The results of the competition were recently announced and her entry was shortlisted for publication in an anthology to be released by the Seventh Quarry, the magazine that initiated this competition to celebrate Dylan Thomas’ centenary, at a facilitation ceremony in Swansea, Wales on 6th December 2014.
We are proud of her and look forward to many more poems and thought-provoking responses to poetry from her!
